VW Employee Activities Committee
For the Volkswagen Employee Activities Committee, I have created a variety of marketing materials for events that take place throughout the year, as well as a shirt that members of the employee activities committee are able to purchase & wear to work. Here, I will showcase the shirt designs I came up with, as well as the yearly calendar that was sent out to employees to prepare them for the upcoming events.
Here are the top three designs that I came up with for the 2022 Employee Activities Committee shirt. The leaders of this committee decided on the lime green design with the charcoal background as the final shirt design that we would end up selling to employees.
The mascot of the Employee Activities Committee is the VW Bus, so it seemed necessary to incorporate their new electric I.D. Buzz that was officially revealed this year into the design, while still reminiscing on the original bus.
It is so much fun seeing the many individual’s that I work with enjoying a shirt that I designed.
This year’s Employee Activities Committee calendar of events was designed to look like The Game of Life. The general theme throughout the years for these calendars has been fun & games, focusing specifically on nostalgic board games.
We wanted to use a game that hadn’t previously been used for inspiration while also incorporating the Volkswagen Chattanooga plant and a few subtle details that hinted back to it as well. I created a painterly background with various elements in that same style to make sure the original feel of the board game was there.
